Your deodorant may boast these accolades: Easy to use. Does not stain. Feels good on the skin. Great scent.
But these swipes could be dangerous to your health. Especially if they contain the Forever chemicals, a.k.a. PFAS. These toxic, persistent PFAS make your deodorant stain resistant and water resistant.
Adding fuel to the fire, your deodorant most likely contains one or more of the following: parabens, formaldehyde releasers, undisclosed fragrances, aluminum salts, phthalates, propylene glycol, and certain preservatives like BHA and BHT
Suddenly your deodorant is not something to boast about.
The first smart move is to switch to a natural deodorant. A salt deodorant can be found at your local health food store. Or try one of ours. See below.
The second smart move is to do an armpit cleanse to draw out the toxins. There may be a transition period. Rather than say that natural deodorants don’t work, you may need to detox the armpits daily. Maybe a week, even a month. But each detox gets you cleaner.
