I had purchased your argan oil awhile back and thought I would purchase another brand to compare. I have some questions...why is your argan oil so much cheaper than others? I was under the impression that it is expensive to make. I'm confused. Also, I heard that all argan oils are heated to eliminate the toxins; however, once this is done, it also eliminates the good effects of it. Is that true? My bottle I received from you and the other manufacturer has absolutely "NO" scent to it. That made me wonder about it as well...as it should have a bit of a "nutty" smell to it...should it not?

We were the first in Canada to have argan oil, I do believe. We have been with the same co-op for 9 years and have not needed to raise the price.
There is a lot of scamming going on. Unfortunately.
About 6 months ago, Health Canada seized our argan at the border to Canada (from the co-op in Morocco) for testing. I was not worried but it was the first time this had happened. After 3 days they released our oil, with accolades as to its quality and purity. They were looking for the addition
of silicone or other dilutions.
The oil 'smell' can vary a little from batch to batch, but it is low key.
The roasted argan, for cooking, has a stronger nutty smell.

We have had wonderful testimonials on our argan oil, especially on its silkiness, purity and positive results when worn as a ‘cosmetic’ or when used on the hair and nails.
We have been able to keep the price fair, as we have a direct contact with the co-op from the same Moroccan fellow whom we met 9 years ago. He has family here and in Morocco, and visits the co-op every few years. He
completes all the necessary paper work for us. He actually chose us, as he loved our product line, our family business and our passion for natural. He has always given us a good price and that is why we can share this with our customers.

WOW.....thanks for getting back to me so quickly. Very much appreciated. Yes, there are a lot of scams out there with this product. Well....you just sold me. I will continue to use your product(s) and will order more when needed. I have compared you with Josie Maran and another one (can't remember the name)...I have to say, I much prefer yours. I have used it in my hair and on my face and it has made a world of difference...especially on my hair as I have curly and course hair.
Again...thanks for your reply and direct answers to my questions and concerns...your customer service is out of this world. You don't find that very often anymore in this day-n-age I have to say.
